In recognition of World Heart Day, First Response Urgent Care is proud to host a Free Heart Health Day for our community on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at our Belmont Avenue location.

Heart disease remains one of the leading causes of illness worldwide, and early detection of risk factors can make a significant difference in long-term health. This special event is designed to help community members better understand their heart health through free screenings and personalized guidance from our healthcare team.
Free Screenings and Services
Participants will receive:

Blood pressure screening

Finger-stick blood glucose screening

Finger-stick total cholesterol screening

Weight and BMI assessment

Brief cardiovascular risk assessment

Personalized results and heart health guidance

Provider recommendations and follow-up guidance when abnormal findings are identified
To support this event, First Response Urgent Care has a CardioChek PA analyzer and supplies available for approximately 225 cholesterol and glucose screenings.
No Insurance or Appointment Required
This event is completely free to attend. No insurance is required, no appointment is necessary, and everyone is welcome.
We are preparing to serve approximately 200 community members throughout the day and encourage anyone interested in learning more about their heart health to stop by.
